Made in China

The contrast of the dull wooden doors and the bright verdant plants behind it makes me wonder if the lock is meant to keep people from going in or coming out. Is it because the doors weren’t completely shut, that it appears to invite curiosity and perhaps a challenge to the authority and power of the lock?
